Pine Meadow Veterinary Clinic

Architectural Design / Interior Design / Consulting

This Pensacola, Florida vet clinic is approximately a 4,800 SF, single story facility, including 5 exam and multi-use comfort rooms.

The overall design objective for this project was to create a veterinary clinic that would allow the expansion of an established veterinary practice that had been functioning in an outdated, cramped facility. The new building was to be constructed on corner lot, that would allow for proper daylighting and traffic control. The desire of the practice owners was to create a beautiful facility in a Pensacola style that meets Louisiana style that would be welcoming to both new and existing clientele. The concept was to provide a more upscale feel in materials and design features in the public areas of the facility, and a more functional design of the private back of house areas. The layout of the spaces enabled separate circulation patterns for clients and staff. The mechanical mezzanine space allows for the systems to be located out of the way of operations and functions. This upper level also gives the opportunity for a separate employee area. All of these desires were achieved while staying within budget and the facility has been extremely well received by both the community and clientele.
