When your passion and purpose are in sync, your work becomes a reward. Melanie thrives as a leader of FMD, where she can pursue the creation of great designs while helping others achieve their goals. Whether mentoring staff, maximizing the efficiency of a layout, or serving the community, she looks for opportunities to enrich what is happening around her. Melanie develops long-term relationships with clients and industry partners. She also loves sharing FMD’s success by helping non-profits to better serve their clients. As part of Leadership Akron’s Signature Class 34, Melanie’s connection to Greater Akron is stronger than ever, but she still enjoys sharing her knowledge with FMD’s national clientele and through national speaking engagements. She finds the best way to maintain intensity with her efforts is to rejuvenate through travel with her husband and their two children, preferably with a hammock and white sand!
