Charley Fox

Charley Fox brings more than 10 years of experience in animal care design, combining technical knowledge with a thoughtful, empathetic approach. A Columbus, Ohio native, he earned his Master of Architecture from The Ohio State University and has worked on a wide range of veterinary facilities, from general practices to complex emergency and specialty hospitals. As a devoted pet parent to five animals and a former foster caregiver, Charley understands the importance of environments that support animals, their owners, and the teams who care for them. His collaborative approach recognizes the unique needs of each practice, with a keen interest in Fear Free design and a strong foundation in AAHA guidelines. Charley’s experience includes planning for CT, MRI, and X-ray imaging, as well as linear accelerator vaults and oncology treatment spaces. His curiosity extends beyond the drawings: he wants to understand how equipment works so he can design spaces that support its operation, clinical workflows, and patient comfort. That attention to detail reflects FMD’s commitment to thoughtful, effective animal care environments.
