In News, Press Release

FMD Architects Inc. had the pleasure of attending the dedication ceremony at Mogadore High School’s Memorial Stadium to bring a wonderful conclusion to their new field house, turf football field, and track project. It has been quite an amazing journey with the Mogadore School District from the tragic field house fire in early 2018 to last evening’s amazing ceremony. With a compact, restricted site, FMD Architects Inc. was able to quickly analyze the existing site conditions, listen to the needs of the Mogadore School District, develop the most successful option to move forward, and properly execute the plan to get the project completed prior to the start of the football season. The relationship between the Mogadore School District and FMD Architects, which started years ago during the design of their new jr/sr high school, was further strengthened through this successful project that will serve to support the Mogadore athletic traditions for decades to come.

Tim Ruzic,  the designing architect on the project, said to the Record-Courier,  “The tradition and values are really the solid foundation that developed this project.” He thanked School Board President Rodger Sansom and the rest of the board and administration for their dedication to the project. “Their care and dedication to this project was insurmountable; it’s been amazing. I’ll miss our weekly meetings.”

When you work with us, you become a part of the family. While we are sad to end our weekly meetings with Mogadore Schools, we are grateful to have been apart of this project and look forward to celebrating its success at many athletic events to come!
